Australian citizenship

Applying for Australian citizenship is an important step in your new life Down Under. It does not mean that you give up on your home country; by becoming an Australian citizen you are acknowledging and embracing your new country. It will be your right to vote and obtaining an Australian passport may open travel to other countries for you. Some countries allow dual nationality and you may not have to give up your citizenship from your home country.
